PHIATON’S NECK BAND STYLE BT 150 NC EARPHONES AWARDED RED DOT AWARD FOR DESIGN QUALITY

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. (April 9, 2018)  Phiaton Corporation, a premium manufacturer of high-performance personal audio products, is honored to announce that its BT 150 NC earphones featuring touch interface and active noise cancellation earned the highly distinguished 2018 Red Dot Award in the product design quality category.

This year, designers and manufacturers from 59 countries submitted more than 6,300 products to the competition. The panel of roughly 40 experts awards the internationally recognised seal of quality based on the following criteria: level of innovation, functionality, formal quality, ergonomics and durability.

The wireless, neck band-style BT 150 NC boasts an interactive touch surface for convenient call and music control with the tap or swipe of a finger, and active noise cancellation that cancels ambient noise by up to 95%. Portability is enhanced by Bluetooth®4.2, IPX4 sweat and water resistance and retractable earbuds for tangle-free storage. Ideal for anyone on the go, the lightweight earphones provide six hours of music playing and call time, while a Power Saving Sensor automatically powers off the active noise cancelling when earbuds are retracted to prolong battery life.

In addition to the Red Dot Design Award, the BT 150 NC wireless earphones were recently awarded a 2018 Dealerscope IMPACT! Award. Phiaton’s BT 150 NC earphones are available now in black and silver for $149 on Amazon.

About the Red Dot Design Award:

In order to appraise the diversity in the field of design in a professional manner, the Red Dot Design Award breaks down into the three disciplines of Red Dot Award: Product Design, Red Dot Award: Communication Design and Red Dot Award: Design Concept. The Red Dot Award is one of the world’s largest design competitions. In 1955, a jury convened for the first time to assess the best designs of the day. In the 1990s, Red Dot CEO Professor Dr. Peter Zec developed the name and brand of the award. Ever since, the sought-after Red Dot award has been the revered international seal of outstanding design quality. Further information available at www.red-dot.de.
